By that logic, one could say that human beings aren't intelligent
because we simply adapt to sensory input in immesuarably complex ways.
To take that even further I'd be willing to argue that intelligence -is-
adaptation, only on an electro-molecular fasion. From there, you could
say that any 'sufficiently' complex system that accepts input and adapts
to that and previous inputs to recognize paterns and formulate conclusions.
