I've had a request to limit the number of BBS posts someone can make in one day to prevent "flooding". I think this should be based on Meridion reputation. Good idea? Should it be 1 post/day for someone with reputation under 5 and unlimited for over 5? Or something more complex?

Since this would constitute a change in policy it will go to Meridion vote before being implemented.

I made some suggestions (possibly in the wrong place) in response to [ Church of Virus BBS, General, Announcements, New Meridion feature: Activity Report, David Lucifer, Post #0, 2006-10-17 ] .
As this recommendation is possibly intended to try to limit the damage caused by our least favorite memebot, I suggest combining steps in this direction with a repeat of the even more useful BBS "clean-up", by performing an administrative year-end move of the contents of the Serious Business forum into the Nasty Business forum. This will combine reduced db loading with a somewhat better image.
Given the lack of use of the "pinned threads" on the Serious Business forum, I suggest that they be unpinned and moved with the rest.

Wow that didn't take long. The vote is decisive by margin of over 30% (so far). I've already implemented the new feature. Please test it out and let me know of any problems.
