Well, FINALLY, after 32 days in the hospital (23 of them in the pediatric ICU), Kylee came home yesterday (to my son and daughter-in-law)!
She'll be on oxygen occasionally for a while, and will have a respiratory therapist over for breathing treatments for a while, but she is free of the staph A pneumonia and a couple of minor nosocomial infections at the different injection, catheter, tube, etc. sites.
I'm sure it will take a couple of months before she is back to her 110% frenetic self. 
The moral is: pediatric pneumonia SUCKS!
I wanted to thank ALL of you for your concern and kind thoughts during this past month.
It will be forever remembered.

It's pretty much wham, bang, sick, deal with it.
That, and get out your checkbook (or the insurance company's checkbook in this case).
Very fortunate on that part.
I can't even imagine what that hospital bill must look like.
