virus: Oh No!...what have i done!???

...through a series of mysterious reasons, i have somehow agreed to run the
crab boat up in Nome this summer!!!! it wasnt as if i failed to perceive
the intense misery experienced last year, it was the lure of the command
which sealed my doom this time. the lawlessness, the fatigue, the giant
ocean devoid of visible ships....the crab!
...i must admit, i developed a tasty new treat last year....i call them;
"Sebby Spicy Crabby Treats!(tm)" ...you must include the exclamation mark.
it consists of a single peice of toast with a nice slice of sharp cheddar on
top, followed by a 1 inch layer of king crab, followed by a half ounce of
tabasco sauce.
...anyhow, i am thinking that it might be interesting to start drawing
parallels between the boat and say the starship enterprise...that way,
instead of declaring boring nautical terms such as, "hey, bouy coming up,
get the grapple", i could sit "Kirk-like" in pensive repose before
declaring, "Yeoman, Beacon spotted...ready tractor beam". rpm's will become
warp factors of course...now im looking for other suggestions.

...By the way, does anyone have any clever ideas which might serve to make
my summer a bit more fun or interesting? There is still a small chance that
i wont have to go, but it looks to be fairly certain. i've already seen all
the sights, and all the basic stuff...so im trying to figure out a new angle
to take.
