WW makes a motion that we formally end the Tuesday night 8pm CST #virus
chat since the statistical probability of it happening on any given
Tuesday night is less that 0.5.

What say the CoVen?

There was a time when that was a good schedule for a number of us, myself
included.  These days, however, I'm almost never available at that time.

Why don't we start a poll among those in the CoV to see what times would be best to host a chat on #virus.  Personally, I've been bogged down with work, classes, house shopping (finished recently) and a few other things.  I can easily attend a chat on the weekends after we get an internet connection established at the house; we close on the purchase on May 31st.  After that I'm good to go.

Speaking of chats - a few topics that are interesting to me are the following:

1. Newsweek's recent story on Koran-gate and it's after effects.
2. Privatization of Social Security - it's costs and benefits.
3. Soon to be released video game console platforms.  Heh.
4. Culture Wars in the United States.
5. China's and India's growing need for energy and it's impact across the globe.
6. Sex.  Oh yeah!
7. Time travel, John Titor, and how this affects you.

Your thoughts on setting up a new time, and possible topics are encouraged.

Take it easy,
Casey

hey, ive been trying to chat in there and it seems everytime im there there is hardly anyone to chat to. Even though Im at my computer Ill get working on something else and the chat stays in the background and i cant see if anyone pops their head in. I dont really have a regular time that Im in there on, and no specific day either, but seeing as how summer is coming up ill probably be free more often.

Oh yeah, and speaking upcoming consols, do you currently have X-Box, and if so i would think you also have Halo2... so do you play on live? If so, what is your username? Mine is the same as my name on here, Pabreetzio. Perhaps we can start a clan Virus, hehehe

I play online once in awhile.  But, I'm a pc gamer.  And, a pretty good sniper when playing Desert Combat.  Looking forward to Battlefield 2.

Have you checked out the specs on Xbox 360 and PS3?  They're going to surpass my pc specs!

Best,
Casey
