OK - if Jonathan is silenced too.

Iraqis are returning home in droves despite the violence. Some google
generated example stories...

http://www.crienglish.com/144/2004-1-7/68@76714.htm
http://www.metimes.com/2K3/issue2003-16/reg/iraqis_in_syria.htm
http://www.rferl.org/features/2003/08/29082003165142.asp
http://www.arabnews.com/?page=1&section=0&article=29573&d=31&m=7&y=2003

Joe is like the passer-by who applauds the fireman only to be scolded that
"Those firemen deserve no credit! Will they be living in the ruins? Hell no!
Would you? Hell NO! Hypocrite!".

We can only help alleviate the mess the Iraqis made (and some cases,
continue to trying to make) of their country.

Regards

Jonathan

I agree to be silenced. I forgot the topic was banned and was replying to
someone who was inviting Joe to return to Iraq. Sorry about that. See you
all 23rd June.

I would note though, that banning is at Lucifer's discretion and I am doing
this in the interests of peace rather than supporting defiance against
Lucifer in any way.

Regards

Jonathan

[Joe Dees]
Wouldn't silencing, to be fair, also have to necessarily include, in addition to Jonathan, Blunderov and myself, most of our recent posters? Such as Walter, for one?  And Doc Sebby, for another?  Jake, and Rhino, and several others, have been transgressing any strictly interpreted boundaries, as well.

[rhinoceros]
Rhino is I.

You could post what you have in the "Suggestion Box" of the BBS, along with your idea of "any strictly interpreted boundaries" for the war and terrorism ban, or you could wait for 2 weeks and post here.

By the way, I have argued against this rule and I have advocated different ways to keep CoV intellectually interesting, but I believe that I have been able to follow simple rules so far.
