[Blunderov] (Annual reformat now completed and hopefully I'm back from the edge of the world again. Never again! From now on a full system backup WILL be available at all times.)

Probably transhumanists everywhere will prick up their little tufted ears at this news.

Best regards.

Brain cells, silicon connected on chip

As News.com runs a special report on the nexus of technology and nature, this post on LiveScience.com seems particularly appropriate. An article headlined "Brain Cells Fused with Computer Chip" reports that "European researchers have developed 'neuro-chips' in which living brain cells and silicon circuits are coupled together." Researchers have been tinkering with brain-chip implants for a few years.

Ping Hermit: sorry I haven't had time to respond to The Structure of Scientific Revolutions; this bloody machine has taken nearly 2 weeks out of my life!
