SBC/Yahoo! deny using techbots, but...

People who use SBC/Yahoo! have been reporting something strange while trying to use their live technical support chatroom. Evidently, the tech-help (any of them) in the chat room phrase their sentences strangely and never directly reply, even to questions about technical problems let alone anything else.
I thought this transcript of a conversation that a journalist had in the tech support chat was interesting. SBC/Yahoo! itself denies the use of bots in their tech support, but the stilted conversation raises an eyebrow or two?
What do you think, are they pulling a fast one?

Shouldn't robots have the same right as humans to have gender and express their sexuality?

I'm a gambling man and put the odds at:

65% bot
30% Foreign - non-english speaking
5% Somebody jacking with ya.
