not knowing the entirety of the situation (and not caring much really),
save for that a while back you (joe dees) and hermit were not being
curteous enough to keep your petty diatribes to one another out of my
inbox, i have little to say, but hopefully a lot more meaning can be
found in my words than the numerous posts that i have been watching in
the pit.

hermit, bill roe, joe dees, etc... what are you doing? is it possible
you to disagree without errupting into a festering cespool of hatred
for one another and slurred obscenities? i know that there was some
disagreement over saddam, or muslims or something, but none of that
matters. i find it exceedingly hard to believe that that all this
animosity is the effluvia and end product of the muslim, etc...debates
that used to be carried on (even in the mailing list (where i stay))
with (usually) a degree of rational discourse in mind.

did we (or you rather) truely lose sight of the functional purpose and
aim of Virus? is it truely possible that you have done so over whether
or not muslim countries are more prone to starting war?

i've left the list before, but seen the folly inherent in doing that.
the goal is to change myself, and to change others. the goal is to be
able to present a rational arguement to one of your peers, and to under-
stand your fellow peer's arguement.

shall we rise above our adversity? shall re recognize our differences
and embrace them as our differences? are we finally going to recognise
that we, as social engineers, are bound to a service of shaping our own
lives, as well of shaping others' lives, and in turn society and the
future; or are we going let the entire idea go to crap and forsake all
that we as a community have strived for? are we all going to keep the
three virtues sacred? do the virtues mean anything to you guys anymore?
they mean a lot to me. they mean the very essence of what i am today.
go ahead and condemn the very essence of the church while i go off and
actually try to make use of what the church was supposed to be about.

i hope you all are satisfied.
(note: i'm not leaving the list. i am just pointing out that there are
some fundamental flaws in the manner that people are pursuing to
participate in discussions.)
