What makes you so sure that there is no market for this guy's picture? I bet some chicks out there would disagree.

Here is a part from a Greek rembetika song of the 30's, very popular among women at the time:

"In the meat market there's a cute butcher boy
With his cute mole and his unibrow
When he sees me pass by, how cute
He whacks with his cleaver onto the stump"

Wouldn't this fall under the category of "torture"? Does the US really do that?

It seems as if the "cruelty" of publishing pictures will not be required. We have other, more powerful illegal capabilities. Of course, they leave the subjects unavailable for further questioning, the question of whether they are telling the truth unanswered, and further remove any claims to the high ground. But while the questions are not raised in the US media, I guess it really does not require acknowledgement...

US admits prisoners murdered

Source: New Zealand Herald
Dated: 2003-03-08

US military officials have acknowledged that two prisoners captured in Afghanistan in December were killed during interrogations at the Bagram Air Base north of Kabul, reviving concerns that the United States is resorting to torturing Taleban fighters and suspected al Qaeda operatives.

A spokesman for the base confirmed the official cause of death was homicide, contradicting reports that one had died of a heart attack and the other from a pulmonary embolism. The death certificates referred to "blunt force injuries".

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion. - Steven Weinberg, 1999
