I have a test which you can all do right now to test your
imagination.
Ready?
No?
Then get a drink and come back when you're ready.
No we'll wait.
(Hums a happy little tune)
Now are you ready?
Good.
Okay, hold pointer finger and middle finger together in front of
your face.
Still with me? Visualize a steel band around them. A solid ring.
Now open your fingers. If you struggle, you have a strong visual
imagination.
Now picture *feeling* a steel band, cold and smooth, holding your
fingers
together.
Now spread your fingers. See how easy that is.
Try hearing a heavy 'Clunk' of a padlock securing the fingers.
The more channels you use in thinking, the more powerful your
whole
mind is.
Taste and smell are not to be neglected either. They are intuitive.
We get 'gut feelings' and some people leave a 'bad taste' in the
mouth. And
danger can have a very real smell.
Meditation, when engaging all the senses, actually strengthens the
mind. It can better solve problems, recognize situations, and
retrieve and
decipher information. Just relax...
A memory is just a fantasy that is considered real. And the brain
cannot tell the difference between a vividly imagined fantasy and
a real
experience. So take the time for a little vacation. Seek some peace
and happiness in the little heaven of your choice.
You were given the tools to create pardise and hell. Too many
people
squander such gifts but you won't disappoint the source. You
know
better.
Ride a unicorn across a rainbow which reaches into the sky over
lush
green fields filled with fairies and elves and happy little lemons
and
limes skipping around on funny little citric feet.
Or sit alone in a swamp surrounded by bugs. And be a frog. Bon
apetit.
Magic is an extention of the 'creative' function of the mind
exerting influence over the forces of the universe. If your creative
functions atrophy, you are an impotent God-like creature.
What a shame!
Live like you mean it!
