Cabin Fever, a Mac, a DVR, a Midi Keyboard, and what does it mean to live north of the "endless summer"

"No Mail fer me"

"only the lonely"

It may be beautiful, indeed, I have to concede it is, but it is still, "Merde blanc!"

Kindest Regards

My take on Hermit's cry of "Merde blanc!", shot last winter in and about the homestead, the audio was prompted by the Russian winters of legend, old recording by Ivan Rebroff

Awwww, that's a really sweet video. Even though I don't have a cat pet/master of my own anymore, I'm always infatuated with them as a species. My own kitty died in August, it still makes me cry sometimes. They all have such unique personalities, no two are really alike if you actually know them. I have been collecting lots of photos of other people's cats on my cell phone . . . "kitty porn"; its my secret vice . I still need to figure out how to better upload them to the internet. I've got some doggie pics too, one of my neighbors has a sweet bloodhound/beagle mix who likes to escape every now and then to freely socialize with the rest of the neighborhood. She's a sweetie with a busy dance card whenver she gets free. Even when she's penned up she still "sings" to me from across the street. Sadly in Urban/Sub-Urban settings free range pets are now more the exception than the rule.

Ode to the Western World

Kill me now or kill me later
Its a disease to which you will cater

Death is easy for some
Be it a Banker or a Corporate bum

Our children are born to the Hell we've made
It doesn't matter for what religion you prayed

The Politician, CEO, and Union guys bin paid

Its just the homeless left for the taxman to raid

The works all Gone
You were just a pawn
The money is Spent
There's nothing for Rent

Kill me now or kill me later
They'll make you a Hater
Anarchist and Exterminator

Then you'll do the killing
You'll be so willing
With nothing to loose
To tired to sing the blues

The few have won
The many have died
The children have cried
Hope is left only, for the lone Debater
Kill me Now or kill me Later

I read these as lyrics to a heavy metal song. Was that the intention?
