From the Lemon... New Study Reveals "Root Causes" of Terrorism
WASHINGTON, DC -- The American Center for Policy Analysis has released the latest findings in a year-long study into the "Root Causes" of terrorism. The study is intended to act as a guide to U.S. policymakers when confronting the war on terror, specifically terror from Islamic extremists, and is intended to explain the animosity towards the United States from terrorist groups.
The report found that Islamic extremists:
Are upset that the United States has hoarded the wealth of the world without sharing any with poverty-stricken third-world Islamic nations. Are angry that the United States has given billions in aid to third-world leaders who misused the money. Want the US to find a peaceful solution between Israel and Palestine. Want the US to stop interfering in the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Are enraged the the US has ignored them for so many years.. Want the US to just leave them alone. Hate Americans and western culture, and want to kill or convert all non-Muslims on the planet. Want America to stop being so prejudice against them. Researchers that conducted the study warned that the bellicose attitude of the United States would only lead to more violence, and that the liberation in Iraq would likely create more terror. Explained one spokeswoman, "Giving them Freedom will only make them hate us more. Then again, so will ignoring them. Bush needs to take these factors into account before getting involved in the middle east."
