I already knew these things about Islam myself. While I'm a bit loathe to choose favorites between dogmatic hypocritical nut-cases, Pat has a way of making these choices more obvious. I know that while the Christian theocratic right who currently dominate my local culture get much more frequent invective from me, the Islamic nut jobs who will eventually flood our gates are even more dangerous and inhumane. I tend to view the whole mass of religiously cruel dogmatic hypocrites as one entity most of the time, which is why I view it as an imperative need to protest loudly and draw the line against the lesser of them long before we have to confront the greater of them. Now is the time to set the boundaries and more firmly establish our secular traditions for coexistence, because our negligence now would only make it a much more violent exercise against the fatwas of the future. To me Pat Condell in the UK is my canary-in-the-mine for me in the US.
