Yoism is another "open source religion" that has a followed a timeline very similar to CoV. Should we collaborate or compete with Yoism?

I vote for compete.  The whole idea of "yo" is irrelevant; there is no basis for trying to form a religion around that which cannot be meaningfully spoken of or experienced.  At the very least there is no functional difference between rejecting the existence of Yo and accepting it, at least as regards one's approach to reality and everyday life.  As Wittgenstein said (and as is oft-quoted in these forums), "Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent."

At this point I don't know enough about Yoism to dismiss it but I'm leaning toward's Perplextus's take on it. Plus the name is silly. I can't help but think that the Yo is one half of a yo-yo.

Personally, the name makes me think of people greeting others with "yo."

Person A: "Yo."
Person B: "Hello."
Person A: "You have violated the Yoist creed of only greeting others with "yo"! Burn, infidel!"

Sorry, couldn't help it..
