I wonder what sort of scam is abroad here?
Mostly we are about mutually stroking each others' egos figuring that eventually someone will have a good idea and we can all pile on. There is the possibility of making money . . . we did after all peg ourselves early to those opinions predicting the current collapse more or less the way it happened, somewhat ahead of the the average monkey. So if you were following our chorus of doom, and you acted accordingly, you may have saved yourself from larger losses . . . hypothetically anyway. So perhaps we aren't about getting rich, but rather not losing or wasting money on bad decisions. Is that a scam?
Of course past results are not always indicative of future performance, but we tend to think that our Virtues and Sins make this on average more possible, although certainly not guaranteed.
