Found this site through Brodie's memecentral. I've checked out KMO's site as well and found many resources on the net regarding memes. Peculiar how the mind process's data!

Cool site : clean, succinct, and aesthetically appealing.

The basic intro on me for now and very brief.

Basically I'm a family guy, with a thoroughly materialist and atheist POV. That's where I stand now. Getting this far has been quite a journey. Where it goes from here I can hardly say.  I try and keep open to being wrong but seems I'm getting close to calling it for a while.

Best regards - - d r i f t

Nice to meet you d r i f t. Your sig caught my eye: "to have a direction, you need a starting point". What do you mean by that?

Welcome, d r i f t.

I hope you like our little place of non-worship.

Pick a random date from 2 or 3 years ago and peruse the archives from that point forward.

It will give you more of an idea of the cast of characters and the plot, both of which are a work in progress

Again. Welcome aboard sailor.

Thanks, about the sig ... well, i've read that a single idea or thought can cause an epiphany, not sure if that's the case

Plot? Cast of Characters? hmm....  alright.

In case you wish to inquire on my character i've invented I could say the same for going over to fuckitall.com/bbs and seeing what I've been up to for the last couple years myself along with many contridictions to whom types now.

Several such random thoughts as the sig are there. Plus the nihilist who frequent the site, few that are, don't seem to give a damn if you want to post something random or not. NO registration required to post so alright then.

If I don't say another thing here. Not the plan at this time. But, I'd like to say that of many sites I've been to, this place is absolutely unique and would think myself fortunate to be with such company as those who have developed something truely meaningful here.

ps+/ I boosted your karma? or something. Applauses all around tonight in the spirit of the darkest time of the year.

I came up with this rather quickly as I was registering on the site. It was when I was filling out the personal text If I recall correctly It said something to the effect of " I'm a llama! " which I don't quite understand. So I whipped up something even more non-sensical. Almost makes sense but doesn't quite ring true, just like the llama thing.

I think now I'll change it though, it made my head hurt trying to come up with something that would make sense  but, I didn't want to spoil it if you found something in it that did ring true somehow?

cheers - - d r i f t

Nice to meet you d r i f t. Your sig caught my eye: "to have a direction, you need a starting point". What do you mean by that?

Actually my mind was just wandering today and I think its somewhat as

"A journey of a thousand miles, begins with the first step"  as what I was getting at with " To have a direction, your need a starting point". Not sure exactly why but I had the compass going as my avatar and it just came out when I wrote that.

Actually I have a thought induced headache right now and am wondering if that is possible? Which only makes my head hurt that much more. Go figure?

I like this that says 'enlighten me' which is clever since lucifer is much like lucidity or that which is brightly lit. I think lucifer also has something to do with venus if i'm correct.

For those 'brights' who wish for a catchy phrase I was thinking today that 'Lighten up' would be a clever one.

Many names in the unholy bible given to the enlightened one, uncanny that this is the one mostly attributed to him.

Too bad that religions are not taught as myths, fables, and legends. Then I would be able to appreciate them more without getting too emotionally charged. Some such musings are quite poetic and well thought out, even if they are not the case according to reality.

Anyways, my head hurts. If you know some remedies towards thought induced headaches please do tell. I can't see having to eliminate thought by a sitcom induced trance

I hardly check my email but was surprised to see a reply to a watched thread in there today from COV.

On my way back to IIDB for some philosophical hub bub and what not and had to reset my password there also; that is the reason I am making this reply now; and the reason that I knew something was posted in this thread; because it's been dead - awhile.

Almost a year since I signed up here. Well I did predict I might up and go for a while.-heh Not to make this a lengthly post but just saying thanks ECH for checking up on it. If your still around here that is to read it...

So yeah; I'm him. He's me. I'm me.

I still remain in my view of this site as I said last year. Though I haven't taken from it as much as is here for the taking as far as ideas and such; yep! I'm lazy at times. Places like squashed philosophers exist for folks like me. So hmm....

I'm going by Dags now which is a shortened version of the anagram "damage basket" (from the pd site/ after damage control password was lost also./ no email there/ (wonder why? do not wonder) ..... that which became "makebate dags" so basically non-sense. But it works.

Re-reading the thread I would like to note that fuckitall/bbs is now defunct and a lot closer to living up to the name.-heh; not that I care all that much/ a year or years? post lost there. So what.

You write something and you wonder is anyone listening? Am I interesting? Is this important? Why am I asking questions? Should I know the answer to that? - heh No, I didn't mean you in the literal sense; just the part of me that likes to type whatever comes to mind; so what else....

Well maybe someone other than myself and ECH might read this; maybe just the writer reads it, so whatever....

Maybe it's all ¿ and then again maybe it's

so once again - d r i f t
