For anyone out there that gets TVLAND on cable, there is a Gunsmoke
marathon all day today (and I think tomorrow).
This was one of my dad and I's favorites when I was a child.
I had forgotten how fucking brilliantly it was written and acted. GREAT
moral lessons in every episode, lots of humour, and they almost NEVER
mention god or faith or any other fluffy bunny metaphysical horseshit.
Just how to treat people rightly and fairly. (Marshall Dillon, Doc,
Festus, Kitty, etc.)
