Wrongful Actions

Wrongful actions include any actions, whether deliberate or not, which might or does cause harm to Virians, the facilities of the Church of Virus or the good name of the Church of Virus or Virians, as determined by the VirianCouncil or a ReconciliationCommittee.

The following actions and their consequences have been defined as WrongAction under which RemedialAction may be instigated. This list, which may be updated from time to time, does not preclude the VirianCouncil or a ReconciliationCommittee from imposing other sanctions for possibly unlisted WrongAction or taking other Disciplinary Action in place of or in addition to Remedial Action.

Pissing Off the Ops (IRC only): Kick/ban not exceeding 24 hours.

Attempting to cause offense by an attack on a person or the Church of Virus

On an official IRC channel of the Church of Virus - Kick on first offense. 15 minute banning on first offense in a 24 hour period. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If ban exceeds 24 hours then silenced for 1 week.
On private facilities of the Church of Virus - Moderated on first offense within a week. 1 day silenced for first offense thereafter within a week. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If silencing exceeds 1 week then silenced for 1 month.
On public facilities of the Church of Virus - 1 week silenced on first offense within a month. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If silencing exceeds 1 month then silenced for 3 months.

General Spamming (transmitting off-topic material or unacceptable volumes in one or more forums):

On an official IRC channel of the Church of Virus - Kick on first offense in 24 hour period. 1 day banning on second offense in a 24 hour period. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If ban exceeds 48 hours then silenced for 1 week.
On private facilities of the Church of Virus - 1 day silencing for first offense within a week. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If silencing exceeds 1 week then silenced for 1 month.
On public facilities of the Church of Virus - 1 week silencing on first offense within a month. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If silencing exceeds 1 month then silenced for 3 months.

Topic Spamming (Attempting to cause offense by an attack on a person or the Church of Virus

On an official IRC channel of the Church of Virus - Kick on first offense in 24 hour period. 1 day banning on second offense in a 24 hour period. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If ban exceeds 24 hours then silenced for 1 week.
On private facilities of the Church of Virus - 1 day silencing for first offense within a week. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If silencing exceeds 1 week then silenced for 1 month.
On public facilities of the Church of Virus - 1 week silencing on first offense within a month. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If silencing exceeds 1 month then silenced for 3 months.

Attempting to Bypass any sanction, including a posting quota, imposed on a member in good standing:

On private facilities of the Church of Virus - 1 day silenced for first offense within a week. Doubles with each offense thereafter. If silencing exceeds 1 week then silenced for 1 month.

Attempting to Bypass any sanction, including a posting quota, imposed on a member already subjected to santions for bypassing sanctions: To be dealt with by mandatory Reconciliation Committee.
