Reed, Tim, you are both quite right.

I apologize for my loss of patience.

Brett, I have read all of your posts, some of them several times (in the
case of the post you directed me to reread, I had read it four times
before replying critically). Thus, it's not a lack of paying attention on my
part that is causing my inability to understand your points. It is also
unlikely to be a lack of reasonable intelligence, as I usually do fine in
that respect. You are obviously very devoted to your position, but I
confess myself unable to understand this position from your posts. When I do
understand something from your posts, it seems to me to be illogical. I
thus, perhaps on uncertain evidence, concluded that your thinking was
illogical. I would be delighted to be proven wrong in this. The most
likely way for that to happen is for you to patiently and carefully
explain your points, preferably in small pieces, and for me to attempt to
follow them, and raise objections and arguments as I hit things that don't
make sense to me, for you to clarify. If you are interested in furthering
my understanding in this way, I will attempt to be more patient in my
responses. If not, I will keep my thoughts to myself in future.

Eva
