I have a confession to make: when I type "LOL" most of the time I'm REALLY laughing. But then one day, I began to realize that sometimes I'm just chuckling, or snickering, not really a full blown "laughing out loud". And so eventually I felt shamed, and resolved to be more honest. Many "LoL"s got edited down to "heh" and lesser emoticons, and unless I'm actually being paid for it, rarely will you catch me ROFLMFAO online. But that's gotten me to thinking about other people. Maybe they aren't even snickering when they type "LoL". What if they don't even "get it" anymore, and have simply morphed into online kiss asses - people you really can't trust?
