  1. Pathology. An organism, such as a mosquito or tick, that carries disease-causing microorganisms from one host to another.
  2. Genetics. A bacteriophage, plasmid, or other agent that transfers genetic material from one cell to another.
  3. Memetics. An agent that transfers memetic material from one host to another.

For the most part, in a Virian context, a medium, method, or vehicle for the transmission of memes. Almost any communication medium can be a memetic vector. (GMG)
