__Wiki Terms__

[SpecialTerms|WikiPolicy] have embedded capitalization, i.e. are [WikiWords|WikiWord].

[WikiWords|WikiWord] shall be entered in the singular unless the thing refered to cannot exist in the singular.

[WikiWords|WikiWord] related to the [Church of Virus|ChurchOfVirus] begin with the word __"Virian"__ - no alternate forms should be used.

[WikiWords|WikiWord] related to this Wiki begin with the word __"Wiki"__ - no alternate forms should be used.

[AdminAttention] Can we rename all "Virus"Whatevers to "Virian"Whatevers?

Not easily. Perhaps someone with PHP skills would like to add a new feature to PhpWiki to rename pages (including all existing links). --DavidLucifer

__Document Trees__

__Document Header__

Each page which is a document tree root (such as this one), must provide an index of backlinks to that page and the primary navigation from the [HomePage] should be visible as "Cookie Trail"-like links at the top of the page.

A page which is not a document tree root must not contain a link to the [HomePage].

"Cookie Trail"-like links at the top of each page must reflect one of the above document tree roots and must provide links to the primary document access path.

Below this, cross indexing links to other paths may be provided.

__Document Status__

A WikiWord indicating the [WikiPageStatus] should be included on each page which is not a simple definition.

__Currently, [WikiPageStatus] is indicated by:__

*[WorkInProgress]:A document undergoing editing.
*[WikiAffirmed]:A document accepted as authoritive due to lack of objection.
*[WikiObjection]:A note to a document indicating that one or more [VirianVectors|VirianVector] object to the page.
*[WorkInVoting]:A document submitted for voting.
*[WikiAccepted]:A document accepted by a vote.
*[WikiRejected]:A document rejected by a vote.
*[VoteCalledFor]:This document is fundamental and requires a [vote|WikiVote] to be accepted.

A special link, [AdminAttention] <followed by the reason for the administration attention request>, is used to create an index of pages which require attention from the Administrator. This link may be added temporarily to any page, and will be removed (except for this example) once the administrator has dealt with it.
