The act of artificially cloning humans is no more unethical than the act of naturally cloning humans (giving birth to identical twins). In addition, take the example of the use of fertility drugs which result in human "litters", most of which include several clones. Certainly the medical risks of some of these early pioneer cloning efforts deserve some discussion in any ethical evaluation. But these present no greater, and probably less medical risk, than the use of fertility drugs. We can expect in time, that the medical community will reduce these risks even further. Principles of personal autonomy indicate that we should protect individuals' rights and capacity to either limit, choose, or control the ways in which they reproduce. OnReproduction
