Hey, you need Buddhism!!!!

Just playing the part assigned to me, you know?

But seriously, if you don't see much hope, maybe you're
looking in the wrong places. After all, where else should
you expect to find such a thing, if not inside your own
head? Like most of the truely important things, it is not,
like rocks and such, "out there". Which is why
materialists sometimes have such problems. That's not
to say that *anything* that's "in here", any delusion or
fantasy, is good stuff. But some subjective stuff is
absolutely essential for a life worth living, and it need
not conflict with anything that's objective, whatsoever.
The finding of such good subjective stuff is a task some
of us find to be a worthwhile life's work. And you don't
need to be a Buddhist to do it! (I just happen to find it
helps.)
