We do survive by making assumptions. We cannot possibly know everything
there is to know. But we do need a point of certainty somewhere in order
to judge the validity of an idea. Without it nothing is knowable.
Civilization has come too far to believe that. Even if I can't quite get
the argument right to show that certainity is obtainable one has merely
to look at all the technological marvels that have been created to know
that there must be something knowable.

This makes my point for me. You have just succeeded in dividing a bad
sensory input from a bad processing error. Your senses set your thinking
straight on this matter!

How you say that? The input occurs at the time of input. The evaluation
of what it all means has to happen afterwards. How can one process
something before it's there to process?
