Honestly, I've never pictured *anything*. How about "ether"? It is a
good question...

A "round table" strikes me as an "ideal" placing.

But I don't think it fits. Discussion here are rarely that ideal.

Instead, I think some dark, smoky place is more in line. Someplace
where the lurkers can all hide in their cornors, and not be noticed.
Some place where there are multiple tables, but each at least within ear
shot of the others.

And the imagery of each person... heh. Maybe I'll keep these to myself!
