Don't forget that there is also Dharma as well as Karma. Dharma says that
you must try your best, but that doesn't mean the best will happen.
Sometimes things will go their downward course despite your good deeds or
even as a byproduct of them. But it doesn't mean you can stop trying to
do good. If you follow your Dharma your Karma will take care of itself.
