They've been on the packets as long as I can remember too, but I'm a
youngster (22). They rarely say anything definate, and the warning label is
rather small. I understand the Canadian label takes up like half the box.
The US label fits on about 40% of the the side of the pack.

They say things like "Surgeon General's Warning: Smoking may cause
difficulties during pregnancy." Or "Surgeon General's Warning: Cigarrettes
contain carbon monoxide." Or "Surgeon General's Warning: Smoking may be
hazerdous to your health."
