Yes it does, regularly, after altering, mutilating, and otherwise warping
it entirely out of any resemblance to anything useful. No, actually, I
intended not authorship of Dracula, but authorship of several films that
also alter, mutilate, and warp the actual historical records for purposes
other than artistic license.
Your response begs a question: is it possible to own a meme? Would you
want to ? What good (aside from possible fame) would it do to own one?
