We haven't got the knowledge yet, but theoretically I think it can be
done (I think it's obvious but I'm always wary of things that seem
obvious).

Give us time though. We're pretty good at finding answers once we start
asking questions.

How many millenia? What sort of time period do you reckon separates the
two events? Is it enough for evolution to have made a jot of difference?
I see the two happening at around the same time so I'm not convinced.
