Well, yes, actually, the tendency for the uneducated or the unbalanced
to give in to the urge to `mystical thinking' of whatever stripe in an
attempt to see the universe or their lives not as they are but as they'd
like to see them. Why should `satguru' give Virians any more pause than
any other religion? He's obviously less infective than, say,
Catholicism and as such presents the Church of Virus far less
competition.

On the other hand, it might be ripe for Virians to get in there and
reorganize things for more memetic efficency.
