Here is a start off the top of my head so don't expect much.

Virus should be similar its namesake in that it should be encapsulated in
an effective infectious unit and have many strategies of transmission
and/or propagation.(By the way the symbol for the Church of Virus is
pretty cool). There should be design for some of the components to
penetrate defenses and lay dormant until activated by further contact. A
religion/philosophy should aid in answering the eternal questions "What
is the purpose of my life? Who am I? ...etc." However, I think we all
agree that Virus should attempt to steer clear of dogma and stagnation.
