My experience with "magic" is that it is conceptual to roughly the extent that "energy" is conceptual. Actually, my view of "magic" is that it IS energy controlled/directed/etc. I do agree about the process of intent. Intention generally tends to be a more significant factor in most scenarios than does the actual event. Otherwise, I think you may be over-complicating the issue. Either that or I've not yet grasped what you are saying. Are you by any chance an "SF"?!? Just curious.
