The method is. Each new

...each new discovery brings inconsistent data into a sympathetic configuration with the predominating paradigm. Unless the paradigm breaks.

It is not in a state of stasis as
> are metaphysical worldviews. Dynamism!

...metaphysical worldviews are far from static. Each and every fully articulated worldview has at its core the concept of the universe as a dynamic system, everchanging, reactive and proactive to the minds that inhabit it.
...it is only the dogma of scientific reason that insists on the rigid mechanical universe, and only in the very, very recent past that science has come to acknowledge the inherent dynamism of the manifold.

Science takes us from one
> place to another, never allowing us to say we know 'the truth".

...but the goal of science is to reach "the truth" - myth teaches us that "the truth" is a subjective matter, shaped by experience and that the particular is but a particular node in the net.

> Which can not be said for the psychobabble from beyond the veil.

...you haven't read much in the way of comparative mythology or serious religious though have you?

> Knowledge frees us from superstitions, allowing our minds to grow
> in all ways.

...in a quantum universe, knowledge and superstition equate.
