Ah, but the _maths_ point to it reducing growth. When the taboo is lifted, population decreases. Pretty black and white according to those statistical methods.

And, whoa, gal, but _when_ did _love_ enter the mix? I was trying, yes, trying, to keep _that_ sort of cultural morass out of it, and so was Derek.

And I _don't_ want to go there, no sirree.

We _are_ talking about 'recreational' sex- homosexual sex, squid-sex, whatever, is recreational sex- _it don't make babies_.

That's as far as this should be going. Taboos upon recreational sex tend, using the models Derek presented, to reduce the adherents of the recreational sex. That is _all_ he said, and all I tried to explain.
