Well, I didn't say "objective" meaning, and I'm not even sure what objective meaning would be, come to think of it... it's not like you can go and physically point it out! I do think that the absence of a god is perfectly compatable with meanings for ones life -- usually internally created (autonomy), but sometimes thrust upon one by external circumstances (e.g. the son of a king). As to morality, the golden rule has always seemed to be an obvious avenue of development. Is that rule "created for myself"?
