News article filenaming

I'm seeking opnions for a news system that I'm working on. At the moment it is designed to create an HTML file for each article posted. Originally it created a file with the date directly followed by the article id for that day. i.e. 2005_Oct_03_1.html . I have changed it to add the word "id" ( 2005_Oct_03_id_1.html ), however I wonder if it really looks any nicer than the original. Basicly I want to know which is a better naming convention to go with (with "_id_" or without). Other comments are also appreciated.
