Other animals?
Or why differentiate?
If you differentiate, where, if anywhere do you draw a line? Apparently some supposedly serious researchers cannot tell that dolphins are smarter than goldfish, while others have eaten the highly intelligent raven (it tastes just like blue jay if you want to know), and octopus (which tastes better (Calamari! Yummy!) but is also smarter than your average cat (not difficult), which in turn tastes more or less like chicken.) what criterion do you use? How can you be sure you are correct in placing the line where you do, if you do? Remember, some Amoeba are animals and yet, some humans seem much less intelligent than amoeba - and others are more sessile.
