It's not like a terrestial monument that ordinary people will regularly bump into, so I completely support NASA honoring its competition results and name a node of the space station "Colbert". NASA needs to take itself less seriously anyway, and the move would likely get more people interested in earth-orbit advertising and a possible revenue stream for NASA.
