America is a country that, as we all know, obsesses about its celebrities, which they have create with their own concentrically-evolved success and glamour memes. However, the celebrity culture, particularly the pop music idiom, has created earworms of such intensity that they overwhelm even those of an anti-pop dogmatic stance (hipsters).
E.g. I know from personal.cultural.whatever experience that Britney Spears is not sexy, but rather a speed-addled million dollar showgirl/hooker. I also, seemingly contradictively, think the song, "Toxic," is sexy and would, in fact, enjoy participating in sex while listening to it.
SO, from a purely objective evolution-inspired schematic, Britney Spears or rather those who pull her strings is/are a memetically superior entity/ies.
Does the proper virion approve of the memetically-superior destruction of the seemingly inferior sense of 'good taste,' as I do? Or is the celebrity-culture of the United States represent a form of dogma preying upon suppressants such as personal insecurity and lust?
I am curious to see what the response of this community is on this subject.
