Usually the number 0 is associated with false, so the OS 012 meme is already having a hard time fitting in with my current memeset.

I think that site is pretty cool, a good idea. the boastfulness of it challenges people to go ahead and find out more. I think that if the church did something boastful like that it might be pretty good at converting people to our cause: only this specific example has a few low points that i didnt like. we should have something like it. PSAs that are playful and simplistic enough to get at one idea long enough to hold someones attention till the next idea, eventually allowing someone to download the whole memeplex.
If we are not our ideas, why is it in our benefit to hold King memes? Technically, Christianity could be considered a King meme (or perhaps a god-level meme?) but it does not spread by being correct, or by benefitting people.
I don't have faith that rationality spreads spontaneously. In fact, the incredible resilience of religion to the onslaught of science over the past few hundred years gives evidence that something more than just the right meme is needed. All I'm saying is that: truth does not equal memetic fitness for an idea.
If we want rationality to spread, we have to exert effort ourselves. We have to disidentify ourselves with our rational memeplex so that we can see what we can do that it cannot: we can fight uphill battles. We can choose to use the discipline of (sometimes unpleasant) skepticism to purify our own minds, perhaps even of our most cherished irrational memes. To do this we cannot allow memes to control our minds, even rational memes.
I recommend Zen as a method of training oneself to stop memetic processes in our own minds. This does not mean that we throw all our memes away. It means we give ourselves the ability to stop any single one where it is, look at it and evaluate it for what it is: not us but a process using our brains. Then, if we decide it's a useful process, we can start it back up again.
To truly serve ourselves, we must ask: why are we serving rationality? I'm not saying there is no reason to serve rationality as our King, but we should only do so out of an understanding of how exactly it benefits us.

Because a king idea is in service to the individual and the whole equally. The benifit of the king meme is the benifit of harmony and mutual understanding, connectiveness with the whole of humanity (our network)

what one believes to be true most certainly does. Once that truth is percieved, the natural idea forms...then, the natural anti-thesis forms, and then from that, the ten thousands things....

the rational idea is the idea that is equally in service to the individual and the collective. The more rational the idea, the more it transverses the nooshere to align with all higher level neccesary truths, creating expanding and self correcting maps....
