...you think of devastating points long after the argument is over.
Tonight I was bearded by a creationist on the subject of the fossil record. To my amazement I was informed that the Biblical flood had produced the stratification of species which is so uniformly evident. This is, I was told, because some animals were able to run faster than others when the waters came. I kid you not.
Humans and dinosaurs had lived at the same time but the floods made it appear otherwise I was told. Fastest at the top I was told. Slowest at the bottom.
I would have been one of the very first to go it seems. Only later did it occure to me that Noah was, allegedly, under orders to collect together two "of every kind" and load them on the Ark.
So where is T Rex?
