Hello Falmouth.
It may be that you googled my daughter's handle ' lethiomaniac'. She is an occasional popper-in at Virus. It is not a word in common use. Possibly the implication that any interest in narcotics at all might be considered 'normal' is partly responsible for this. These days I think 'abnormal interest' is assumed to amount to the same thing as 'addiction'. Let me hasten to add that my daughter is not addicted to anything more than strong coffee and cigarettes.
