I wasn't quite sure which board to post this on, because it applies to many subjects: history, religion, science, philosophy. I'm talking about the theory of Star Fire. The reason this theory by Sir Laurence Gardner is so hard to categorize is because it applies to so many thing, and fills in a lot of empty spots.
His main purpose interest is the bloodline of Jesus and how he is descended from Adam, who is not
actually the first man. But the theory also dabbles in science, specifically the working of the pineal gland and its effects on the human body. According to Gardner, the ancient kings would imbibe the menstrum of a goddess and recieve longetivity and advanced perception.
This Gardner calls 'Star Fire'. However when the gods departed the world the supply of star fire disappeared. But luckily metallurgists had devolped a powder which cold be baked into bread to give the same effect. One of the ingredients of this "shewbread" or manna as it is better known is gold, possibly the origin of alchemy.
Now there was a conspiracy, says Gardner, to cover up the knowledge of star fire. This is because Judaism had actually not been monotheistic for very long before the birth of Christ. There were two main gods of the Jewish pantheon before "the" God: Jehovah and Lord. This would explain the different names given to God in the Bible. Apparently these two gods existed in many Middle Eastern pantheons. Whereas the Lord tried to help humanity (the serpent that told man to partake of the Tree of Knowledge) Jehovah worked to human's disadvantage. Primary examples are the Flood and deliverance of the Jews into the hands of the Egyptians and Babylonians to be subjugated. But Jehovah asserted his dominance and Judaism became monotheistic.
Subsequently ancient Jewish and Christian scholars have tried to stifle knowledge of the two seperate Gods and in doing so, covered up the knowlegde of Star Fire. But remnants of it still exist in culture. The symbology of Catholic communion is not unlike the ceremony of consuming star fire, says Gardner. Masons use many symbols that are related to star fire. Also the Royal Court of the Dragon Sovereignty of which Garden is a memeber was created in ancient Egypt in relation to star fire.
I don't know if I'm doing justice to his words, but you can find them here:
http://www.nexusmagazine.com/starfire1.html. I was wondering what you all think about this. I haven't looked too deeply into his proof, and the webpage has no citations (its from a speech he made) but I must say I'm intrigued.
