Dumbass Quote of the Day
Posted on: May 3, 2010 9:16 AM, by Ed Brayton

From Sarah Palin's Facebook account:

"Hope is one of America's unique virtues."

Right. Because Brits and Swedes and Danes never have any hope. Only Americans do. My hope is that anyone who says something this mind-numbingly idiotic would thereafter be forced to wander the streets for the rest of their life while people point and laugh. But I'm not holding my breath.

[Blunderov] I suppose a country that runs a sporting event called "The World Series", which includes no teams from any other country, might be expected to have a unique understanding of the word 'unique'.

Hey, we give some Canadians a shot at the world series. How much more inclusive do we have to be?
