There have been numerous deaths at the hands of Scientology, and they are
performed in very inhuman ways. They generally kill "traitors" quickly, they
try to break them using starvation and beatings.

Given time, the differences you are so quick to point out will seem
irrelevent if they aren't stopped.

Oh god, you are sounding like the Anti-German propoganda that is being put
out by the Scientologists.

They do not have to wear a badge saying "I'm a scientologist". They just have
to make it clear that they are during the interview. Scientology has made
very clear threats against the German government.

On one hand you are condemning a religion for being violent and supporting
government action against them, and on the other you are condemning
government action against another violent religion.

Forget US hipocracy, you should deal with your own first.

A little bit of history on the problems Scientology has faced in Germany:

First of all, they were refused tax exemption in Germany because the
government only grants exemption to non-profit organisations. There is no way
in hell CoS could claim to be non-profit, so they drew up a plan to mirror
their actions in the US to get tax exemption by infilitration (they pressured
the IRS using blackmail and placed memeber of the church in influential
position).

This plan was leaked, and every action was taken to prevent it. As a result,
Scientology began a propoganda compaign stating it was the Holocaust all over
again. The actions of the Church have been condemned by just about everyone
that matters, including the US Government, Jewish leaders, and of course, the
German government.
