[Walpurgis 2] <Kharin> Currently waiting for pomo discussion to have the
decency to end its life as soon as possible.
[Hermit 1] I was hoping that not responding to it would be a hint for it to
commit suicide.

[Walpurgis 2] Could this be thought rather pompus of you both?

[Hermit 3] I'm sure it could be. Even pompous, perhaps. Most things "could"
be interpreted in any way you like. Some interpretations are possibly more
valid than others. . . .

[Jake] Okay . . . just walk away from the computer. You can do it now!! We
really don't need a 12step PoMo recovery group do we?? I know, I know, I
know, that's supposed to be REEAAAAAL judgmental of me, and hence a bad
thing, or even just a completely relativistic and otherwise irrelevant
comment . . . blah blah blah. Or perhaps even the fact that I did not put
forth even a pitiance of real argument against the evils of PoMo may even
indicate my intellectual mushiness. Who knows? All I know is that PoMo
discussions for or against tend to eat up incredible amounts of bandwidth and
generally go nowhere, or even somewhere REAAAL slowly so as to almost seem
pointless. Of course some people need to do that sometimes, but then they
get over it. Yes, I know that some do not EVER get over it!! It's kinda
like spam, it just never goes away, and often makes you question its value in
the first place in similar kinds of ways. Perhaps it beats spam by just a
little bit. I have probably read more PoMo material in my life than spam,
but honestly I would have to think about that harder in order to feel
certain, and I just don't seem to care right now.

P.S. If you happen to love PoMo, we can probably still be friends. If you
happen to hate PoMo, we can probably still be friends too. Nobody get mad.
Everybody be happy. Love your neighbors, and respect your enemies. I know
we can't all get along, but I'll pretend if you will. No go have some fun
for me that doesn't include endless mental masturbation. I bet you can do
it! much love, Jake. PPS Oh yeah, and I know some of those Lucifer
Principle people may or may not throw up, but let's give peace a chance. . .
. . . yadda yadda, ;-) Love, Jake
