It is important that citizens of America trumpet the problems in our system. It's healthy. But those who live in other countries shouldn't concern themselves in internal American matters that they don't understand and can only offer their opinion upon.

As a non-US citizen I would observe that when I took the online naturalisation tests for US citizenship (out of general interest and without prior study) I scored a very healthy pass, which is something I doubt that many US citizens could do without study beforehand. I would also observe that I have probably read far more texts on the American political system than the majority of the US public. In short, I have no difficulty whatsoever in viewing myself to be perfectly able to comment on US politics and political theory; and am therefore somewhat annoyed at being told that I should not concern myself with such matters. In fine, I will concern myself in whatever matters I damn well want to. Alles Klar?

When did you take the naturalisation tests? My mother took it in the '60s or '70s, I think. She was coming from the best school in the Philippines because her (grand)father was the Mayor of Manila (I think). She also had to go to an American high school to study American Government at age 25. Nowadays, she claims it is much easier for people to enter the country and become citizens. My father, an extremely educated man, is in full agreement with her.

Note: I'm not too keen on the dates and numbers.

Kharin you took my quote out of context. It is important that non-citizens who are absolute idiots, burn flags, and plot to destroy America with bio- and nuclear weapons offer (shout) their opinions of America on TV. Why? 1. Most Americans don't speak their language. 2. It looks like their next on the 'terrorist country' list. 3. We're Americans. And we're coming for you.

America has managed to make itself become quite the fear in people's eyes. This is a true statement and it is undebatable. So don't even try. It's solid. It's not liquid. It's just there. Nope! You can't debate it.

Note: You'll probably have trouble understanding me so my recommendation is that you don't analyze my words. If you do you get a much stranger meaning than I intended.
